- Chapter 13 - Providing guidance for wage earners and others with regular income to retain some or all property and avoid repossession and foreclosure while they cure loan defaults and pay down debt under an approved plan extending for up to five years. In most cases, unsecured debt remaining when the plan is completed is discharged.
