Allan J. Eurek is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, where he received his B.S. degree in 1973, and the University of Nebraska College of Law, where he received his J.D. Degree in 1982. Mr. Eurek has been in private practice since 1982 and founded the law firm of Allan J. Eurek & Associates, P.C. in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1995. His practice is concentrated in all aspects of Real Estate Law, Creditor Bankruptcy Law, Estates, and the representation of small businesses.

 

Allan J. Eurek is admitted to practice law before all Nebraska State courts, the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nebraska, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Eurek also practices before all Nebraska state agencies, boards and commissions, and many local government bodies.

 

Allan J. Eurek is a member of the American Bar Association and its sections on Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law and Tort and Insurance Practice, and has served on the latter Section's, Title Insurance Subcommittee and Insurance Coverage Litigation Subcommittee. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, a national association of trial attorneys, and the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys. He is a former member of the Environmental Law Institute and the American Judicature Society.

 

He is a member of Nebraska State Bar Association, and has served on the Association's Real Estate Practice Guidelines Committee for over ten years. He is also a long time member, and past Chairman of the Association's Real Estate and Probate Section, and a longtime member of its Bankruptcy Section.

 

Allan J. Eurek has extensive experience in real estate transactional work and real estate lending document review. He has rendered opinions as local counsel for loans in excess of ten million dollars. He has substantial experience in Commercial Landlord Tenant Law and Fair Housing Discrimination Law. He is an experienced trial attorney who has tried commercial landlord tenant cases, and other real estate cases to both courts and juries.               

 

Allan J. Eurek has served as the Planning Chairman for the annual real estate seminar for Nebraska lawyers and real estate professionals, sponsored by Nebraska Continuing Legal Education, Inc., and is a frequent lecturer on real estate law related topics.        

 

Mr. Eurek also volunteers as presiding judge for the Nebraska High School Mock Trial Competition and participates annually in Law Day activities at local high schools. He has served for many years as a City Attorney for mock city council meetings which are part of the Nebraska Boys State Program.

 

Mr. Eurek served on active duty as a commissioned Officer with the United States Navy from 1973 to 1978, and retired from the U.S. Naval Reserve in 1994, with the rank of Commander (CDR 0-5).
